Our completely plastic-free Corkio plants !!

 

In addition to our online shop, we are constantly breeding new varieties and developing concepts, such as our Cocoon Orchids. In our concepts, we always make sure to simplify care and to perfectly showcase our little beauties, so we are proud to present our latest concept , "Corkio" . It consists of beautiful plants that are not cultivated in a plastic pot as usual, but grow from the beginning in a pot made of natural cork! The plants love the air-permeable natural pot and make it very easy to care for them at home!

The Corkio plant comes with a matching glass cube so that you can set up "Corkio" right in your home. Simply add a little water to the cube every 2-3 weeks and the cork will supply the plant with water from then on. Have fun with this absolute novelty!

LOCATION

Succulents can tolerate direct sunlight, but are also well adapted to indoor conditions. Therefore, they prefer a bright location, such as an east- or west-facing window. However, they are generally very easy to care for, so they also cope well with low/high light conditions.

CARE

The plant requires little water and should be watered regularly every 2-3 weeks. Excess water should be removed after one hour. During the growing season from March to September, it should be fertilized with a special fertilizer, such as orchid fertilizer, every other watering. This is a low-concentration fertilizer and also suitable for succulents.

The product has a height of approximately 15-20cm. The
Glass cube is 8x8x8 cm in size and is included in delivery.

Die Orchideen sind super verpackt angekommen. Es war sogar ein Heat Pack mit im Karton. Das bekommen manche Orchideen Gärtnereien nicht hin!

Die drei BellaVallia sind richtig groß und stark bewurzelt gewesen, dass ich diese erst einmal umtopfen musste. Ein paar Pflanzen habe ich an eine Terra Base gebunden und bin gespannt ob das funktioniert und die Orchideen gut anwachsen. Alle drei Pflanzen haben viele Blüten Ansätze. Ich habe das erste mal bei BlattPost bestellt und bin gespannt wie die Pflanzen sich unter meinen anderen 50 Ochideen machen.
